		<description>George Lakoff.  He&#039;s a linguist and he&#039;s the democrat&#039;s answer to Frank Luntz.  He&#039;s a heavy in the linguistics field.  He&#039;s the one helping Obama frame his message.  

The Republicans are good but they are lagging behind the democrats.  The republicans always use fear and American values as their framing points but independent voters are savvy to the bullshit spin they always use.  What republicans have in spades is belief.  They stand behind their story till death.  That&#039;s what makes them so good.</description>

In terms of framing, some (Democrat) friends in the business world and I have often remarked how when you go look for a PR person you need to hire a Republican.  It is a game of a finite set of rules they play consistently and well.

I share your apparent distaste for both parties, although I have already decided to vote for one of the two main candidates.

It is with Presidential candidates as it is in romance &quot;you fall in love with who you want them to be, you live with who they are&quot;
