There are an abundance of guys who do not have enough self-awareness (or honestly with themselves) to know where their game is really at, and will presume they have enough game to accomplish these sort of scams. If that were not the case, the cliche of guys pretending to be “producers” would not be so prolific. Even my douchebag neighbor who works as a petty lowly clerk tells girls he’s a “producer” whenever he gets the chance (I think has dad has money and once let him work on a random production). I doubt the claim has ever worked for him to get him any closer to a vagina, but he still tries throwing it around.

So when you describe specific elaborate scams, rather than get the message across, my take is that the vast majority of guys will still be lame and think “Cool, I never thought of that, I can pull that off!” Do you know how many guys out there who actually think porn like Bang Bus is real? There’s a whole segment of porn dedicated to give guys the appearance of girls being “scammed” to fuck a guy, but it’s BS because any regular guy trying to pull off the same thing would fuck it up or be arrested, and the few who do pull it off for real will never share it with the world because they do the smart thing and keep it the fuck to themselves and keep it in the shadows.
