This whole seduction community has just become a money grabbing pit for these 100+ or so “gurus” out there.

I’m a big fan of “natural game” myself… which is basically picking up women WITHOUT all the fake routines, tactics or magic tricks…

Because at the end of the day, it’s all about developing your skills in COMMUNICATION.

If I wrote all the things I knew about the dating “gurus” in the industry, you’d have a stronger urge to grab a bucket and vomit than if you had Martha Stewart perform a naked lap dance for you.

The problem, my lad, is that I am too aware…. ;-)

But you’re right about one thing: I shamelessly promote people whom I believe have good things to teach….. and I don’t even make any money from doing that. Maybe you can write Stephen Nash & Sinn and tell them to send me a check……

I don’t perceive it as a normal. On the same token, I think stepping into a department store across the street from your house for 5 minutes to meet cute girls, getting a number or arranging a date with one of them every so often is innocent enough.

It’s a bit different than walking the streets for 3 hours day, looking to pull unsuspecting Asian students back to your place where you sometimes have to almost force yourself on them. (Hint: They’re not always going to be into it, so he has to keep pushing the envelope.)

None of it may be normal per se, but one is harmless, where as the latter borders on predatory behavior, IMO.

The guest on your audio mentions that he goes to a MACYS store near his house and checks in every few hours. He’s not there to buy anything, but to see if there are cute girls there to talk to.

He stands by the belief that he’s not there to pretend to be shopping, but that he’s looking for girls. How do you perceive his actions as being normal?

Companies like RSD do absolutely no promotion of robotical, mechanic-like techniques; in fact, quite a bit of their platform is overcoming that behavior. Other instructors like Entropy, Mr M, and Braddock — and really many more people than you give credit for — are giving strong advice and do meet both of your standards.

The marketing in this post disappoints me, but thanks for all the loads of value in other posts! I like your blog. You’re constantly giving out free value. However, I suggest you remove the attempt at marketing within a broader message — in this case, a message that is patently promotional.

Really good point man! I should do a Blog post on that as well. It’s natural to want women to like you, and it’s natural to want to date cute girls.

But then, when it becomes this sort of an obsession taken to such extreme, it’s serving as an escape vehicle, the way alcohol serves alcoholics. It’s overcompensating for some deep rooted issues that each individual has to figure out for himself.

Take the case of the “Westwood Predator” mentioned in this blog post. It’s fucking weird behavior, but more astounding is that, he does not even see it. At least, an alcoholic knows he is an alcoholic is aware of his problem. The community entrenched person is NOT even aware of his bigger issues.

For example, did you start studying this stuff to get a girlfriend or a wife? To become better at social interactions? You get some success, and then it turns into a drug like Cameron says, and you need more and more to get the same high you used to.

Maybe you were a nerd in high school, or your parents didn’t like you, or whatever, and this gave you confidence issues and you weren’t attractive to women. Sleeping with a number of women isn’t going to solve that problem. (See Tony Curtis for a prime example of how sex and drugs do nothing for your core personality issues.)

Damn, most of your posts are really spot on and unique. I hope more people find this blog in the future, I really believe guys in the community can benefit tons from these posts.
