What's goin on Cam? I found this post. I thought it was very inspiring, motivational and truthful. I agree with you that not all pickup material is good. But this is a good read. You might want to write a post about it.

By resolve, do you mean not giving up or changing our goals easily due to obstacles faced along the way?

Nice post, Cameron. I like the idea of strength.

I also like the idea of "power with" rather than "power over."

To me, strength in part means being immune to other people's opinions and relying on internal guidance instead.

Reminds me of a quote from on of my favorite fitness trainers,

"Get comfortable with being uncomfortable..."

You really need to get to a place with yourself where you can "crush it" and know it. (Whatever "it" is.) Then you relax. Once you're confident, REALLY confident in yourself and your abilities, then you become very chill. That calmness is subtle, can't be faked, but is noticed by everyone.

Have you ever met a professional fighter, (MMA guy, boxer, etc.) They're some of the sweetest, nicest, most chill guys you'll ever talk to. Why, because they've worked hard to build their strength and know it. So, they can relax. They have nothing to prove to anyone. This kind of calm strength drives most women wild.

Reminds of a situation I got myself into years ago. I was at some tattoo artists party with a date and somehow unintentionally pissed off a rather large biker. When we wandered out at the end of the party, he followed and demanded I fight him. (Now, I've been a martial artist since I was 6 years old, so while never looking to fight, I'm not afraid of one.) I was super calm with him, and said that if he insisted we could, but I'd prefer not to. Something about my calmness spooked him. He literally said, "Whoa, why are you so chill about about this. What are you hiding? What do you know?" It freaked him out. Long story short, there was no fight, and my date practically raped me that night.

So, as Cameron wrote above. Build your strength from within. Know yourself. Work hard and get comfortable.
