Really good question. I wrote a detailed article on this a couple of years back. (Before I had this blog.) Let me see if I can dig it up.

Love the blog – I have a question for you involving rapport however. I’m fairly good at calibrating and building rapport with people, however occasionally I read about frames, and the need to keep a strong frame. At this point those two processes seem contradictory to me – if you have a strong frame you’re not calibrating, and if you’re calibrating you’re changing your behaviours or frame to fit the person you’re interacting with.

Any thoughts?

I like that,and I find it to hold true from my past experiences.

The two times I didn’t take a dominate role the relationship attraction and boredom took over and they slowly fizzled out.

I also believe that men should always exercise this kind of dominance with women — from dominating the first conversation you have with a girl to setting the up the “standards” that a woman must live up to in a relationship with you.
