Quick Primer: There is a \u201cseduction community\u201d out there where \u201cPick Up Artists\u201d and their rivals discuss various methods of attracting women, picking up chicks, and getting laid.\u00a0 For the most part, I try to avoid it like a plague.\u00a0 Yes, I know that I\u2019ve fraternized with the head honchos and the \u201cWho\u2019s who\u201d of the community, but I\u2019ve moved on from it.\u00a0 Except for a handful of people I keep in touch with, I avoid the individuals, events, and whatever else that is community related.<\/p>\n

I still receive loads of emails from various guys who want to ask me questions ranging from a situation with a particular girl to \u201cWho\u2019s full of shit<\/em>?\u201d\u00a0 to \u201cWhat do you think of this drama?<\/em>\u201d\u00a0 The latest email tells me there is a debate between Mystery, Erik Von Markovic as seen on VH-1\u2019s Pick Up Artist, versus a guy who calls himself Mode One, otherwise known as Roger Allen Currie.<\/p>\n

While I am sure enthused folk will be listening with more glee than if they were watching an Obama vs. McCain Presidential debate,\u00a0 I will be happily skipping it..<\/p>\n

However, a lot of you want to know which system is better and why.\u00a0 What should you do?\u00a0 Who is right?\u00a0 Whom should you follow?\u00a0 What\u2019s more effective?<\/p>\n

Erik Von Markovic will promote Mystery Method:\u00a0 A 9-step linear system where you have to stick to very rigid rules.\u00a0 You can\u2019t be direct with women, nor can you show interest until you have \u201cDemonstrated Higher Value.\u201d\u00a0 (It never assumes you have higher value Basically, you\u2019re a jerkoff who has to prove himself first.)<\/p>\n

You should always start indirect, then transition later.\u00a0\u00a0 Then, it gets more complicated. If you see a proverbial \u201c9\u201d, you can\u2019t approach her right away.\u00a0 You ought to first social proof yourself and he has a myriad of techniques for that as well.<\/p>\n

Roger Alan Currie will promote his Mode One:\u00a0 My basic understanding is that he believes men communicate in 3 or 4 modes.\u00a0 Mode One guys are the ones who are super-direct, and there rest are chumps and dickheads.\u00a0 (or something like that.)\u00a0 His mode-one communication can be extremely direct, graphic, and sexual.<\/p>\n
